All Aboard to Cumbria
We’re taking our play sessions to the Stainmore Heritage Railway in Cumbria!
We will be providing them with all the trains and full training, so they can run their own play sessions for local autistic, ADHD and SEND children. Our trains will be running alongside full-size steam engines in a 150-year-old railway station.
Where will our trains go next?
Thank you to our volunteers
We’d like to say a MASSIVE thank you to all our volunteers. We couldn’t run our inclusive train play sessions without our ‘Train Gang’.
Many of the Train Gang volunteers have lived experience of autism, ADHD and SEND, so they know how to make All Aboard Club sessions a supportive and safe space for the children and their families.
Did you know …
…we’ve always got sets of child-size ear defenders available at our sessions?
We wouldn’t want a child to be put off coming to our sessions because of noise levels. Or they may have just forgotten their own pair!
So we always have our trusty noise reducing headphones to hand for anyone who wants them.
Play sessions for schools
All Aboard Club recently took our trains to mainstream and special schools in Woking and Sutton. It was great to see the reactions of teachers and support staff, when they saw so many of their SEND children getting really engaged with making up trains, taking them around the track, and avoiding collisions.
If you would like us to come to your school, see our schools and family events page for more information.
